Appearance, Texture & Spreadability:  Dairy-Free Down Under Cashew Cream Cheese looks and feels more like hummus with the color of cashew.  However, it is grainy and thick yet creamy and spreads easily on toast, crackers, etc.  1/2⭐

 

 

Flavour & Taste:  Dairy-Free Down Under Cashew Cream Cheese has a distinctive garlicky aroma and taste.  1/2⭐

 

Price:  Dairy-Free Down Under Cashew Cream Cheese costs more than RM23.00.  1/2⭐

 

Overall Impression:  Dairy-Free Down Under Cashew Cream Cheese is the kind of product that seems like a good vegan cream cheese alternative.  However, it is not exactly what it claims to be.  It is a very straightforward product that tastes and feels exactly like its ingredients.  Its appearance, texture and taste are very reminiscent of hummus than cream cheese.  It contains ingredients that are ingredients for making hummus like oil, lemon juice, garlic and salt.  In fact, traditionally hummus is used as a vegan alternative to cream cheese.  And since, it is really more of  hummus than cream cheese,  Dairy-Free Down Under Cashew Cream Cheese is INDEED cashew hummus that is marketed as vegan cream cheese.  Dairy-Free Down Under Cashew Cream Cheese looks and tastes  like ordinary hummus that contains cashew with no special innovative quality about it that excites me.  If I want cashew hummus, I can make it myself in my own kitchen at a much lower cost.  This product is unnecessarily expensive and definitely NOT worth it!  Dairy-Free Down Under Cashew Cream Cheese is one product I will NOT need in my life ever and will NOT be purchasing again in the future.  0⭐
