Here is the 5-Star Point System by The Gluten-Free Vegan Baker
Malaysia (The Vegan Vuddha):
1⭐ for Appearance, Texture & Spreadability
1⭐ for Flavour & Taste
1⭐ for Price
2⭐ for Overall Impression
Appearance, Texture & Spreadability: Melt Organic Butter looks and feels like regular dairy butter. It
has a pale yellow color which is similar to other vegan
butter products commercially available. It is
soft and creamy and spreads easily on toast, bread, etc. 1⭐
Flavour & Taste: Melt Organic Butter has a rich savoury flavour which is a tad saltier. 1⭐
Price: Melt Organic Butter costs less than RM36.00. 0⭐
Overall Impression: Melt Organic Butter is a plant-based dairy-free butter that could be a good alternative to dairy butter. It is wonderfully creamy in texture and melts easily on hot and warm foods. It is slightly saltier than other vegan butters but I still like how it seems to enhance the flavours of my gluten-free vegan dishes. I wouldn't consider its flavour as buttery but more like a blend of many vegetable oils. I feel like I'm tasting so many vegetable oils at once which is quite the flavour trend of many plant-based butter spreads nowadays. The taste of Melt Organic Butter is still clearly its own. In terms of price, Melt Organic Butter is not affordable and not economically sustainable in the long run. I only have room for one expensive vegan butter in my kitchen and it already belongs to Califia Farms Plant Butter. I would still rate Melt Organic Butter as a good product to try. 1⭐
Verdict: 3⭐⭐⭐ (out of 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)
